Restore a Delete File from OneDrive

If you accidentally deleted a file from OneDrive, don’t worry! You can easily get it back using the (OneDrive) Recycle Bin.

Step 1: Go To OneDrive

You can do this from any device using a web browser

1. Open your browser (like Chrome, Edge, or Safari)
2. Go to m365.cloud.microsoft/onedrive and sign in with your Kingborough Council account

Step 2: Open the Recycle Bin

1. Once you're in OneDrive, look at the left-hand menu
2. Click on the Recycle bin

Step 3: Find and Restore Your File

1. Scroll through the list to find the file or folder you want to recover
2. Click the circle checkbox next to it
3. At the top, click Restore

✅Your file will go back to its original folder in OneDrive.
