Spectrum - Using the Clip n Ship Tool

Implemented in Spectrum is a clip and ship tool which allows you to select an area and have GIS layers from that area clipped and sent to you via email (at the moment only .dwg files for AutoCAD etc.)

In the All Layers project, find the Clip n Ship layer

Using the 3 dots: add a new record, and then draw geometry on the map (e.g a polygon)

Under attributes: select the export type (for the moment only the “CAD” export is set up properly, followed by your email, before hitting Add

This will appear in your emails as a link, which you can download and unzip

(An export covering half of Kingston takes about 5-10 minutes to process, smaller areas will take less than a minute)
