Kiosk – Leave Booking Approvals
Important: Make sure that the leave dates being applied for are inclusive.
For example: 24/12/2025 would be booked as from the 24/12/2025 to the 24/12/2025
Also please make sure any part days are lodged as separate booking, because the system cannot determine which day is short.
1. Overview
When an employee submits a leave request, you will receive an email notification.
If the employee does not have enough accrued leave, the system will not allow the request to be submitted.

2. Log in to Kiosk
- Open the Kiosk login page.
- Ensure Windows Authentication is selected.
- Enter your network username and password.
- Select Log In.

3. Switch to Management Mode
- In the top‑right corner, click Log Off.
- Choose Management Mode.
Your screen will switch from your personal details to a view showing any leave requests awaiting approval.

4. Review and Approve Leave Requests
- In Management Mode, locate the leave request you want to process.
- Click the request to open it.
- Add comments if needed — these will be visible to the employee and Payroll after approval or rejection.
- Click Accept (or Reject if applicable).
Once actioned, the leave request updates automatically in the employee’s Kiosk view and is queued for Payroll processing.



5. View the Leave Calendar
To see all staff leave bookings:
- In the left‑hand navigation panel, select Leave Calendar.
- The calendar will display all upcoming and approved leave for your team.

6. Check Employee Leave Balances
While still in Management Mode:
- Open Leave Summary / Apply from the left‑hand menu.
- Use the dropdown to choose an employee.
- Review their current leave balances (as at the last pay period).
- View their leave history.
- Submit leave on their behalf if required — helpful during payroll cut‑off when the employee is away.
