Join a Zoom Meeting
Joining a Zoom meeting is quick and easy! You don’t need a Zoom account to join a meeting someone else has set up.
- Click the invite link provided by the host, for example in a calendar or email invitation, and follow the on-screen instructions
- Alternatively, open the Zoom desktop client
- Click the Home tab
- Click the Join icon
- Enter the meeting ID provided by the meeting host
- If prompted, enter the meeting passcode
- Click Join
You will then join the meeting or waiting room, if enabled by the host.
Helpful tips:
- Make sure your camera and microphone are working if you plan to speak or be seen
- If you're having trouble, try closing other programs and restarting your device
